As fall enters, our life-giving relatives, the Canada Goose Nation, leaves for their fertile southern homes. To honour the gifts of the goose nation the Swampy Cree people conducted annual spring and fall ceremonies. Our people offered heartfelt prayers for a safe journey south and a healthy return north in the spring.
