Mother-Daughter Medicine, 2004

The relationship between a mother and a daughter is very sacred.  In this painting mother passes all the wisdom, knowledge, experience and love that she can to her young daughter so that she can go on her own journey.  It is said in our traditional teachings that “mother is our first teacher,” she has such an important role to play in the development of the minds, bodies and spirits of all future generations
