Traditional Women’s Teachings

These sessions explore First Nations teachings about

womanhood and the relationships that women have

with all of Creation. It shares teachings that help

women learn about the sacred responsibilities

of womanhood.

 

Traditional Parenting

These sessions share information about First Nations

parenting customs and traditions. Traditional teachings

will be shared to help parents learn customary methods

of child rearing.

 

Traditional and Contemporary Art

These sessions share teachings about the techniques

and skills used to express your own personal stories

through the visual arts both contemporary

and traditional.

 

Creative Writing Workshops

These sessions help participants learn to find their own

storytelling voice and express themselves through

writing.
